Dr.’s Hernandez and Wooldridge love helping patients of all ages and can also accommodate the Spanish-speaking.
Chiropractor
Dr. Jackie Hernandez was born in Houston and raised in Edinburg, TX located in the Texas Rio Grande Valley. She is a proud member of the fightin’ Texas Aggie class of 2012 where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology on a full academic scholarship. Dr. Hernandez then attended Texas Chiropractic College on Academic scholarship where she later graduated on the Omega Psi honor roll.
She enjoys biking, reading, and spending time with her family. She also enjoys travelling, especially to visit her family in Mexico. Dr. Hernandez switched her career path to Chiropractic due to the life changing results she experienced after suffering from a neck injury during her undergraduate studies.
Dr. Hernandez uses a diversified chiropractic adjusting technique tailored to each patient. She is certified in FAKTR (functional taping) and Webster Technique – a specific adjustment and protocol for pregnant women and also enjoys treating children. She speaks Spanish fluently, as it was her first language.
Chiropractor
Dr. Christian Wooldridge was born and raised in the Houston area. After graduating from Clear Creek High school in League City, TX, Dr. Wooldridge accepted a baseball scholarship at Blinn Junior College where he was awarded Academic All American honors. He continued his undergraduate studies in College Station, Texas, earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at Texas A&M University. His Doctoral studies were completed at Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena, Texas.
At Texas Chiropractic College, Dr. Wooldridge was assigned the Clinical Lead for the outreach clinic at U of H Clear Lake and also performed a clinical rotation with the Rice University Football team. He is passionate about helping patients achieve and maintain life long mobility and spinal wellness through chiropractic care.
Chiropractor
Dr. Carolina da Mata, or simply Dr. Carol, as her patients know her, was born and raised in Brazil. After graduating from high school, she decided to come to the USA and practice her English. She fell in love with the country, people, and culture which prompted her to move here permanently and has been here since 2009.
She knew she wanted to help others ever since she was a child, when she suffered a sports-related injury. It was then she was inspired to help others. She graduated with a Pre-Med degree from Lansing Community College in Michigan and soon after started Chiropractic School. In 2020, she graduated from Texas Chiropractic College, earning her Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
Dr. Carol speaks English, Portuguese, and some Spanish. Her specialty is pregnancy and pediatrics but she is passionate and loves taking care of all her patients. She is FAKTR certified, Webster trained and a proud member of the ICPA (International Chiropractic Pediatric Association).
